This dog strives to allow the creativity to fuel her productivity, and to bring about a philosophy instead of chasing after the latest trends with no concept. Because when a brand’s identity is true, its purpose and passion are clear, it becomes contagious.

Deaf Dog Design was founded by Jonnelle Harbold, and branded after man's best friend. She's been living up to the name, by bringing a grounded approach based on foundations of hard work, determination, and outstanding solutions to create great design. It's apparent that she's been turning herself into a design powerhouse, and her strength is her ability to solve complex problems with simple, powerful solutions. As hands-on leader, Jonnelle's passion for design and creative thinking are a benefit and an admirable characteristic for any designer.

Jonnelle is continually pushing forward, and received her B.F.A in Communication Design, with a dual concentration in Advertising and Graphic Design from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, graduating with magna cum laude honors. Most recently, she has been one of the first graduate students to be accepted into Savannah College of Art and Design’s (SCAD) newly created M.F.A. program for Interactive Design and Game Development in their e-Learning College. She has also been awarded the highest academic scholarship available to any student.

With her ever growing presence in the industry, Jonnelle has gained experience in user-centric design, branding and identity development, packaging, wayfinding, book design, information design, and communication design. She has worked with a diverse array of clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in retail, technology, education, entertainment, non-profit and hospitality sectors.
